2D-to-3D development

A Convincing 3D Result Starts with the Right Image

Creating stereoscopic depth is not a one-click visual filter.

MOCOM first reviews the approved artwork and determines whether the composition is suitable for optical 3D conversion. Selected elements are then organized into foreground, main subject and background layers.

Depth, cropping, scale and optical comfort are adjusted for the final viewing format.

Images with a clear focal subject, sufficient resolution and visible separation between elements generally offer the most flexibility. Tightly cropped or visually flat images may require another source image or a revised composition.

An artwork review is therefore completed before prototype development begins.
